|For the latest iteration of MLB: The Show franchise, MLB 12: The Show, SCEA have put together another excellent edition. It is a beautifully organized, beautifully presented, and a relatively realistic baseball excursion. Customer Reviews of MLB 12 The Show
The sound is very great. The sound of the bat crack is a little different, but overall the ambient noise and the sounds of the game make u feel like you're at the ballpark. The broadcasting trio are once again great, though many of their lines are rehashed from previous years. Still, Eric Karros took some more time in the studio this off season to add good commentary, U it does bring the game to life.
Unbelievably realistic game... RttS is the best!!!5/8/2012
Game is great. Everything is there. The Road to the Show (RttS) is great. You can fly through seasons and customize how much you want to play your player. It is easier to pick up the spin on the curveballs versus previous years. I actually have an easier time taking balls and not just swinging at most everything. Commentary gets old VERY QUICK. Especially when you are playing RttS. They announce you and say the same things over and over while you are batting. I recommend turning it off and replacing it with a custom playlist of music you have stored on your PS3. Because of this, I gave the audio a 4/5. You can also customize crowds, walkup music, etc. Pretty much anything you can think of. Detail of the stadiums is amazing. I only wish they had the singing hotdog vendor from Comerica Park in Detroit.
