Elegant & functional, but not perfect
This bag is pretty good. I was looking for something that would be ergonomic to walk a mile to and from work with, and yet still elegant, classic or hip enough to carry to client sites. It meets those criteria very well - the straps are comfortable, the fabric looks almost like leather, the interior pockets are functional for - in my case - 2 cell phones, business cards, power cord & wallet, 15" laptop and paper notebook. On the downside, when I put my normal wallet (a woman's checkbook wallet) in the outside pocket for easier access, 2 things happen: 1) I can no longer close the flap 2) If I manage to close the flap, the silver buckle is difficult to open & close when tight. Means my wallet is a pain in the neck to get out at the cash register. My ideal backpack would be this form factor with an outside-accessible zippered pocket for my wallet & keys. I'm guessing this company is used to designing for laptops but not for women (whose wallets & keys don't go in pant pockets).
