Also, up to 6X on DVD-RW and 8X on DVD+RW media. The new Monsoon GVP 20X DVD +/- RW 12X +/- DL Firewire External Drive is also a CDRW drive that will write to 650 and 700MB CD-R 40X and CD-RW 32X media. The new feature of this DVD is DVD-ROM, which has ability to read as fast as 20X on single layer for DVD and 40X for CD. Also, the CD Audio Playback is 20X.
