How to Set it Up

Works great with easy setup5/11/2013
I needed to link our BlueRay player to the Internet and could not run a cable so I bought these Powerline modules. I plugged them in and followed the directions. It took only about 5 minutes and I was streaming Netflix and Amazon streaming media. The only problem is that when I turn off my BlueRay player and don't use it for a while, the modules go to sleep and I have to wake them up by running the connection diagnostic on the player. This not a big deal for the ability to use the Internet functions of the player.
Not Stable for serious use1/20/2013
I have a set of belkin, these and logitechs. Out of the bunch, the Logitechs that came with my secrity cameras are work best. But the belkins, though faster, are not that fast. LAN tests shows only 2/3mbps throughput. These, like the belkins, drop off line an have to be reset to work. I tried using both brands on a PC I set up as a media server. Useless. I ended up putting a wireless card in the PC. I tried these on other outless. I ended up putting a belkin on a DISH dvr that didn't need 24/7 connectivity. My logitechs have worked 100% out of the box but they are also rated at 100mpbs. I get 44mbps with testing. Since my wireless card is giving me the full 150mbps needed for my video, I'm not switching it out. So, beaware that these are ok in a pinch but good luck keeping them online when needed.
Good so far...11/28/2012
I have had powerline network adapters in the past, and they have died on me pretty quickly. So far these have been working quite well. The connection is there when I need it. I have had no drops in connectivity. The only downfall I see with this system is that the lights on the front are very bright. When I am streaming a movie, the lights can be seen when the rest of my lights are off.
Simple and easy to set up11/6/2012
Very simple set up, better connection than wifi
They just work11/5/2012
Got these for my parents, since they didn't want to run network cables. They worked right out of the box with no problems.
Bought this under the reservation that they would not work well but I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and well they worked. The most surprising was that I thought I would have to go buy Cat-5 cable to use these but two Cat-5 cables came with them. I plugged one into my Router and another in another part of my home to plug my Blu-Ray in to. Works flawlessly,
