Excellent on 2 phones1/4/2011
I tried it on 3 phones and on two of them, it sounded great (Motorola Droid and LG ENV3). On the 3rd phone, Blackberry Bold 9650, the person I called said it sounded boxy. I also noticed the the volume was lower than the other two.. maybe the battery was too low??? I am not sure.
Works as advertised12/18/2010
I've bought two of these. The first one for me, and the second as a gift for my mom since her older Motorola would no longer hold a charge. I would give this a 4.5 rating. The sound quality is usually spot on (90%+) of the time, but sometimes it comes in a little scratchy. It must be the bluetooth, as I'll disconnect it and go to the handset, and the scratchiness goes away. I have no problem hearing conversations, or others' hearing me so I'm happy. It also has very good battery life and quick charging times. A 15 min charge will give you about 2 to 2.5 hrs talk time. Overall for the price and free shipping, you get much product for your $$$. I would recommend this headset.
Love this bluetooth. It works great even in windy weather. Good batter life. Have no problems with it.
This bluetooth is awesome. It is user friendly, easy to use and charge, and has longevity. The voice prompt is great! The last bluetooth I had broke each time I removed it from my ear. I am happy to report that is not the issue with this one. I will be keeping this one for a long time until its last leg falls off. Thanks Motorola for making a great product.
Refurbished, but works good as new11/26/2010
it is oem (so no extra earbuds), but it comes with a regular travel charger and manual. not indicated in the product description anywhere it that it is also refurbished (indicated by "REFURBED W" at the bottom below the fcc labels). when turned on and it doesn't find something to pair with, it automatically goes into pairing mode, with a basic voice prompt to pair it to something. the multifuntion button is a bit difficult to press because it's small and kind of sits right inside your ear. the led is in the bottom-most "hole" of the side (i assume the others are the secondary mic for noise cancellation). hard to operate or put on one-handed, as the on/off switch is tiny. one nice thing is that there's no charging dongle; it's just straight microusb. works like it's brand new, though. no problems hearing me in various conditions, other than maybe speaking a bit louder than is typical (wouldn't recommend it for quiet places, or where a whisper might be required). sound quality is plenty loud, no problems hearing the other caller. all in all, very solid..plus it's incredibly slim (as a compromise, a bit larger as viewed from the side).
