Previously bought a refurbished Xoom and a throw-down 7" tablet ('Kocasco') about the same time. They were our first Androids. The Kocasco has 8 gb memory and a very slow processor. It also had trouble linking to home wi-fi. The Xoom is not a cheap tablet and is clearly superior. My wife took the throw-down to Europe for a Skype appliance and had lots of trouble. In fairness, the wi-fi on a river boat may not be ideal. Consequently, she now has a 2nd (new) Xoom, and seems pleased.

Not a bad tablet. It needed the O/S updated. Did it with no problems. It seemed quick and had a VERY light touch, very responsive.
WOrks fine. Good value.
I have been looking for something that will keep my husband from being bored while in the hosptial and recovering from cancer surgery. This hits that mark. Light weight, fast. He can surf the web, listen to music, read and play games all in one item.
