| Murder One returns for a second season of compelling courtroom drama. Editor's Note
Steven Bochco's (HILL STREET BLUES, NYPD BLUE) successful courtroom drama enters its second season, which sees Theodore Hoffman's (Daniel Benzali) departure as he takes off for Europe with his family, attempting to make amends with his estranged wife (Patricia Clarkson). The case focuses on the murder of California governor Tom Van Allan and his mistress, for which Van Allan's ex stands accused. Jimmy Wyler (Anthony LaPaglia) gets himself assigned to the defense, as he has recently been passed up for promotion by his boss, Roger Garfield, who has gubernatorial aspirations. He retains former members of Hoffman's defense team--Chris Docknovich (Michael Hayden), Arnold Spivak (J.C. MacKenzie), and Justine Appleton (Mary McCormick)--while also acquiring the services of Aaron Mosely (David Bryan Woodside). The entire second season of the show is collected here.
