Customer Reviews of My First Dance Dance Revolution
I am glad I purchased this game for my 5 year old - she loves it, and the games are a plus! It has been fun taking turns to dance to the lovely songs; great selection! With daily use, we will all work off the extra pounds from Thanksgiving and Christmas! A fun way to get some exercise!!!!
A Perfect DDR for kids 6-912/25/2008
I bought "My First DDR" for my 6-year-old niece. It was a perfect game for her to learn the concept, and the different levels of 2, 3 or 4-step dances coupled with 19 different songs gave her enough challenge and variety that 2 weeks later she is still playing with it daily and hasn't felt the need to graduate to the 3-step dancing yet. Her 9-year-old brother plays it too and they both have great fun competing against one another. It plugs into the front of the TV and keeps score. It couldn't be easier. The graphic of the "dancer" on the screen is lame and moves erratically and has nothing to do with the music, but it doesn't matter. The kids love it!!!!!!
My First Dance Dance Revolution12/10/2008
I bought this item for my 7 year old daughter and 6 year old niece last Christmas. My niece was worried that it would be too hard since she has tried the adult version of DDR in the past. They loved it! This game was on their level, it had easy songs and allowed them to choose the level of difficulty for each song. My entire family (even my 60+ yr old parents) had loads of fun with it as well. I bought 4 more this Christmas to give each household as gifts. The only issue I had with this game was that it didn't last very long. 2 months after having the game, it stopped working. But then again, my kids were rough on it. All I can suggest is to be gentle and not pull on the cords when handling it. Overall, it is a fun game and gives you a good workout.
