I bought several products from several companies only to return them because the companies that made them were not honest with the consumers about some of their products, this product speaks for itself, it is everything they said I would find in the package, it contains: User Guide included Windows XP, the CD-ROM had Windows XP in it, it was easy and understandable and because of that fast and effective, I put the CD-ROM in and did what was familar and all of it happend Quick and easy, there was something to work with instead opening it to find, empty promises, nothing to work with, or ineffective way.

Additional Information IRQ: Automatically assigned by Plug and Play system. DRIVERS PROVIDED: Microsoft Windows: - Windows for Workgroups 3.11 - Windows NT v4.0/2000 - Windows 95/98/Me Novell NetWare: - Client for DOS/Windows (16 bit) Others: - Linux (Red Hat) 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 7.0 - NDIS 2.0 for DOS CARDBUS SUPPORT: CardBus is a 32-bit bus-mastering architecture that operates at PCI local-bus speeds of up to 33 MHz, yielding a peak bandwidth of 132 MB/sec. Unlike 16-bit PC Cards, which operate at slower ISA bus speeds of 8 MHz using an ISA-like asynchronous protocol, CardBus provides a fast 32-bit multiplexed address/data path that allows full access to Fast Ethernet's bandwidth. By utilizing internal bus speeds, CardBus can operate at speeds six times faster than a 16- bit PC Card and five times faster than a 100 Mbps PC Card. In addition, CardBus PC cards operate at 3.3 Volts, saving power and conserving your PC's battery life. BUS-MASTERING CAPABILITY: Model FA511 features leading-edge bus-mastering capabilities to optimize throughput while maintaining low CPU utilization. Bus mastering allows the FA511 to assume control of your PC's system bus, accelerating data transfers. 16-bit PC Cards, by comparison, act as a bus slave and pass data through the CPU before sending it to the host system. This slows data transfers and strain your PC's processor. LOW VOLTAGE: The Model FA511 consumes a low 3.3 Volts of power. Low power consumption prolongs your PC's battery life, which allows you to run your PC longer without needing to recharge it or use a power supply. ROBUST: Designed specifically to harness the power of the latest networking technology with 32-bit ,10/100 performance. SIMPLE TO USE: Plug and Play makes installation a snap Compact, dongle-free design
