Annotation:
Jesse Stone, the police chief of Paradise, Massachusetts, is accustomed to tracking down cold-blooded murderers, so it must be almost a relief when he is called on to thwart a few hot-blooded perverts. In Robert Parker's eighth Jesse Stone novel, someone is spying on Paradise's prettiest citizens, and it is up to Stone to stop them before the situation elevates from creepy to deadly.
Author Bio
Robert B. Parker
Robert B. Parker is best known for his mystery novels featuring Private Detective Spenser. While investigating homicides and tracking down serial killers, Detective Spenser travels throughout Boston and the surrounding areas in search of answers. Not surprisingly, Robert Parker spent most of his life in New England. In 1954, Parker graduated from Colby College in Maine. In 1957 he received his PhD degree in English from Boston University, studying detective fiction. In addition to writing mystery novels, Parker worked as an Army radioman, a technical and advertising writer, and a college English teacher. His Spenser character has been adopted for the big and small screens, and Parker himself started an independent film-production company with his wife. Critically and commercially successful, Parker was named a Grand Master by the Edgar Awards in 2002. He died in 2010 at the age of 77.
