Excellent everyday camera12/14/2006
This being the 4th Nikon camera I have owned it is by far the best excluding a Nikon SLR I owned some 20 years ago. It makes it very difficult to take a bad picture but if you try hard enough I am sure you can do it. It is fast and image stabilization with auto focus makes it one of the easiest and dummy proof cameras on the market today. In my opinion in this pixel range you will be hard pressed to find a better camera than the Nikon P4. 1 concern I have had with this camera though is the retractable lens covers which can break if you care not careful with the camera. Nikon continues to produce some of the best optical devices available for the consumer and I cannot recommend this camera enough.
Good all around camera8/12/2006
I have used the camera for a variety of tasks by now and find it to be very good for most usage. I would like more zoom but wouldn't we all. I had challenges trying to take pictures at a concert I attended recently which initially concerned me, but I watched others around me having the same problem
