|When Nikon introduced the D40x back in March of this year, they noted that it "...maintains the same compact size, portability and ease-of-use as its already successful sister camera, the D40, and adds features like higher 10.2 megapixel resolution, faster continuous shooting capability and wider ISO sensitivity". Vibration protection is not included4/5/2008
I canceled the order of Nikon D40X/18-55mm since it doesn't have vibration protection (VR) function neither in body nor lenz. I heard that most Nikon DSRL camera doesn't have vibration protection in body but in lenz. In this kit, the lenz doesn't have a function of it, but Nikon D60/18-55mm kit has!! The lenz in this kit is VR available. Also, D40x is not going to be produced any more. D60 was just produced in Feb. 2008. I'm strongly recommending D60 kit instead of D40/D40x.
