Customer Reviews of Ninja Gaiden II
Amazing Game with few Complaints7/10/2011
The game when i first got it was looking to be just the same as the previous titles but i soon realized that this was exceptional for the action is nonstop and freaking amazing with countless combos and loads and loads of gore and blood that will satisfy all hardcore gamers. the only complaint is the confusing storyline and sometimes shaky camera.
Ninja Gaiden II action packed10/22/2008
The game has excellent graphics and very good gameplay. I strongly recommend it.
This is a great game, I highly recommend it. The gameplay is fantastic. You learn more techniques as you progress through the game, and you are reminded about moves you need to perform as you go, so the learning curve is well executed. The Difficulty is very challenging, but is more forgiving than the first game, and rewards you for your hard work. Saving is frequently available, and if you die, your life and all your items stay with you. Overall, this is a graphically rich game, with challenging gameplay. Very fun and enjoyable, but definitely not for kids. This is a Mature game with lots of blood, dismemberments, and monsters. This game marks the last of the great Team Ninja games from Tecmo. Tomonobu Itagaki, the man soley responsible for the Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden series is no longer with Tecmo, as well, most of the members of Team Ninja has disbanded from the company. This is definitely a game to pick up and enjoy, since it will most likely be the last of it's kind. Tecmo still owns the rights to both franchises, so sequels to both DOA and NG are possible, but seeing as they will not be developed by either Tomonobu Itagaki, or the core people at Team Ninja, this game will be considered the last great Tomonobu Itagaki/Team Ninja game as we knew them.
lots of cheap deaths10/20/2008
Beat the game on hard last week. It's fun, but you'll die in really cheap ways lots of times. Also the camera is frustrating. Just remember you can always set it down and come back to it later.

I'm only on level 5 right now, but I love it. If you like the 1st game, and were not turned off by it's difficulty, you will like this one just as much. So much ninjaness it's hard to fathom.
No Story = Boring6/23/2008
It's a beautiful game and the combat system is insanely good, but there's no motivation. I thought I could sit down and beat this game in a few days, but so far I can only play an hour every couple days before I get bored with it. The original had a storyline, this one gives no incentive to kill thousands of dogs, ninjas, and werebeasts.
