Better than going right to Norton4/24/2012
My virus scan expired and the auto renew from Norton wanted to charge twice the market price. I purchased a new CD online and installed it. I saved at least $25 not letting the auto renew kick in.
I bought this for my mom, who is not exactly computer-savvy. She's always calling me with this computer problem or that computer problem, but she's had Norton protection for a few years now, and she's never had a problem with viruses.
So far we like this program hope it continues.
Bought because of referral from a friend3/22/2012
I bought this item based solely on the referral from a friend. The installation went fine, but I am a little confused as to how to fully use the program. Some choices send me to places I don't really know what to do next. That means I need to contact someone to help me. I like to be able to help myself and have descriptions easily at hand.
Year old Anti-Virus software3/19/2012
I should have looked harder at what was being marketed. Norton 360 v5 is 2011 and v6 is 2012. Imagine v7 is probably 2013, Can't see a reason for someone to market year old anti-virus software licenses; but there are suckers like me!
great product for the office. Have ordered 10 of them in the last few years.
Best Security Available10/24/2011
As an avid fan and user of Norton's Internet Suite, I finally had an opportunity to try Norton 360 and all I can say is, "Wow!" Now before I go any further, I have to admit that I got an amazing deal on the price -almost half-off the regular price (it pays to sign-up for the Buy.com e-mails)! Having said that, I'm still trying to evaluate it as if I had paid full price. To be honest, I'd probably stick with the Internet Suite if I had to pay full price, but I would TOTALLY be lusting after the 360! It's a lot like the Internet Suite, so if you use that, you'll get this, but things are a bit more automated with 360, and there are a LOT of extras. Just read the specs or do a comparison and you'll see what I mean. I've always believed in Norton and have seen first-hand how they protect a system where other security programs fail. I do PC builds, setups and troubleshooting on the side -so I kind of know what I'm talking about. :O Seriously, though, if you want true "peace of mind" with "set it and forget it" ease-of-use, than you want Norton 360!
It's a very good anti-virus. Worth for our money.
