changed the way i think about food7/6/2011
As someone who was on a low-fat, near-vegetarian diet in the 90s and probably suffered a long list of health problems because of it (low blood sugar, PMS, menstrual cramps, endometriosis, weight gain), this book was quite an eye-opener when I read it three years ago. I cautiously started adding scary things (to me) like raw milk and more red meat to my diet, and eliminating soy milk and fake soy meats, "foods" that made up a majority of my diet until then. It's been a gradual change, but now I have virtually eliminated the problems I used to think were just normal.
