The Numark HDMIX Portable DJ Multimedia Workstation is a effective workhorse for the mobile DJ or venue owner. This compact, all-in-one solution features an internal 80Gig hard-drive and removable hard-drive caddy for storing a huge library of audio files in WAV, AAC and MP3 formats. If that's enough capacity, simply remove the 80Gig and replace it with up a 1TB hard-drive.There is a CD player that supports standard audio and MP3-CDs on CD or DVD media. Three USB ports allow DJs the ability to connect their laptops, mass-storage drives and a USB keyboard for added control over file searching with Numark's Crate search engine. The HDMIX features two large jog-shuttle wheels for scratching, analog inputs for external CD players and turntables, as well as balanced analog outputs for connecting powered speakers, or tapping into the house PA system.
