SKIN DEEP: Regrets. Even movie stars have them. Chantel O?Hurley''s family was far away, her mansion was empty, and when she was threatened, there was no one to turn to. There was certainly no comfort in Quinn Doran. He looked like he?d been carved out of stone and he was just as intractable. But in that hardness was a promise: ?I will keep you safe. I will bring you home.? But could she get him to stay?WITHOUT A TRACE: Redemption. With everything he?d seen and done, Trace O?Hurley was way past that. And nothing the flame-haired Irish beauty Gillian Fitzpatrick said could change the fact that he was just a disillusioned man with nothing left to lose. But somehow Gillian made him believe that he could do the impossible ? rescue her family, take down a terrorist organization. Ask for forgiveness. Be one of the O?Hurleys again. At last.
Annotation:
This follow-up to previously published omnibus BORN O'HURLEY collects the third and fourth installments in the contemporary romance saga of the O'Hurley siblings. In SKIN DEEP, Chantel O'Hurley, the oldest--and wildest--of the O'Hurley triplets, is a movie star who falls in love with the man hired to protect her from a stalker. WITHOUT A TRACE concerns the O'Hurley triplets' older brother Trace, who's rejected the family career (show business), in favor of becoming a spy. On the verge of quitting that career as well, he accepts a freelance assignment from beautiful physicist Gillian Fitzpatrick, who hires him to rescue her brother and niece from their terrorist abductors.
Author Bio
Nora Roberts
Nora Roberts didn't become an immediate best-selling author, but once she sold her first novel, she never looked back. A mother of two small children at the time, Roberts began writing in 1979 with a number-two pencil and a spiral notebook. She wrote sporadically while her two sons were at school, a schedule she maintained long after they had grown up and gone to college. Two years and several manuscripts after her initial attempt, her first novel, "Irish Thoroughbred", appeared, the first of over 100 novels she would write in the following two decades. While having dabbled in many of the genre's forms, Roberts has found most of her success writing contemporary romances flavored with both suspense and adventure. The youngest of five children, Roberts grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. In 1968, she married Ronald Aufdem-Brinke, the father of her two children, but divorced him in 1985, the same year she married her second husband, Bruce Wilder.
