Editor's Note
As THE OFFICE returns for season five, nearly everyone?s caught up in complicated romance: Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) have become a long-distance couple (while Pam?s at art school); Dwight (Rainn Wilson) is still courting his newly engaged ex, Angela (Angela Kinsey), while her unsuspecting fiance, Andy (Ed Helms), attempts to plan the perfect wedding; and Michael (Steve Carell) is helping Jan (Melora Hardin) prepare for a baby that isn?t his, all the while making mix tapes for the new HR rep, Holly (Amy Ryan). Add to these soap-opera shenanigans the day-to-day drudgery of pushing paper and caring for customers, and the result is a hilariously familiar, cringe-inducing send-up of the absurdities of modern life. This collection includes every episode from the 2008-09 season of THE OFFICE, as well as three hours of never-before-seen footage.

The series also follows the workers at Dunder Mifflin. Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) fancies himself Michael’s right-hand man, reports to him all of his workers' “infractions,” and tries to police the workplace the way he would run it if he were in charge....read the full review | |
