Petty Behavior. Zero Productivity. All in a Day's Work.
Scranton's most outrageous workforce is back to give their clients the business in the fifth hilarious season of The Office. Join obnoxious regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell) and his fellow paper pushers Dwight (Rainn Wilson), Jim (John Krasinski), Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Ryan (B.J. Novak) as they steal customers, frame co-workers, indulge in intra-office love affairs and just plain behave badly while a documentary film crew captures their every word and misdeed. Developed for American television by Primetime Emmy Award-winner Greg Daniels, this 5-disc collection includes all 26 episodes fromThe Office: Season Five

"...extremely funny...the cast is perfect in their roles, delivering in each and every scene...  Francis Rizzo, III, DVD Talk
"Priceless moments...daring, unflinching...  James Poniewozik, Time
"The most brilliant send-up of cubicle hell since Office Space.  Maxim
"...a terrific comedy full of laugh-out loud moments.  William David Lee, DVD Town

Editor's Note
As THE OFFICE returns for season five, nearly everyone?s caught up in complicated romance: Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) have become a long-distance couple (while Pam?s at art school); Dwight (Rainn Wilson) is still courting his newly engaged ex, Angela (Angela Kinsey), while her unsuspecting fiance, Andy (Ed Helms), attempts to plan the perfect wedding; and Michael (Steve Carell) is helping Jan (Melora Hardin) prepare for a baby that isn?t his, all the while making mix tapes for the new HR rep, Holly (Amy Ryan). Add to these soap-opera shenanigans the day-to-day drudgery of pushing paper and caring for customers, and the result is a hilariously familiar, cringe-inducing send-up of the absurdities of modern life. This collection includes every episode from the 2008-09 season of THE OFFICE, as well as three hours of never-before-seen footage.

The series follows the absurd day-to-day comings and goings of the Dunder Mifflin paper company’s Scranton branch led by a bungling and self-involved boss. Michael Scott (Steve Carell) is that boss; he  excels at making messes, stumbling into solutions to problems, and leaving his superiors scratching their heads as to how his branch is so successful given his personality. The series also follows the workers at Dunder Mifflin. Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) fancies himself Michael’s right-hand man, reports to him all of his workers' “infractions,” and tries to police the workplace the way he would run it if he were in charge....read the full review
