I picked the right one.
Having downsized from a large SLR (Nikon D200) because of arthritis in my wrists to a lighter more compact camera(Olympus E-P1) I missed my Sigma 10-20mm wide angle. After wrestling with the limited options available to me in the micro 4/3 format I picked the 9-18 lens because I thought it would become more of a walk around lens that I could leave on the camera most of the time vs the 7-14mm which would only be used in special circumstances which would mean I would have to carry it around in a camera bag. I and am really glad I made the right decision. I take a lot of landscape shots and this lens really works great. I miss the ultra wide of the Sigma on the Nikon DX format (15-30mm equiv) a little but I'm able to get most shots with the 9-18mm (18-36 equiv). This lens is ultra light and compact. Gave it 4 stars for performance and satisfaction because I wish it was a little faster but then it would have to be bigger. Everything is a compromise.
