"Starring Richard Wilson & Annette Crosbie, Written by David Renwick."
"You will come back from your holiday to receive an extremely unpleasant rectal examination from three men in peaked caps. Your clothes will go missing on the other side of the world. Your house will be completely consumed by a hideous fireball...I'll never call Russell Grant a vacuous lump of whale blubber ever again!"

Life continues to throw more slings and arrows at Victor as he and Margaret move to a new house. Next door, the cheerful but terminally boring Nick Swainey seems intent on disturbing Victor's peaceful retirement, while on the other side Patrick and Pippa's lives are made a misery from the moment they first meet the Meldrews.

This two disc collection includes all six episodes from Season 2 of One Foot in the Grave: In Luton Airport No-One Can Hear You Scream, We Have Put Her Living in the Tomb, Dramatic Fever, Who Will Buy?, Love and Death, and Timeless Time!

"...a milestone series of British television comedy...written with dark humour and biting sarcasm...  Steve Crawford, MichaelDVD Region4

Editor's Note
Victor and Margaret Meldrew (Richard Wilson and Annette Crosbie) are recently retired upper-middle-class folks who have yet to actually settle down. If anything, retirement has brought them more headaches than the working world ever did. These problems are propelled mainly by Victor's constant gripes at the world around him, which bloom into full-blown debacles, especially when neighbors Patrick (Angus Deayton) and Pippa Trench (Janine Duvitski) become involved. This release includes every episode from the second season of this sidesplitting British sitcom.

On 4th January 1990, BBC1 in the UK screened the first episode of a sitcom that would go on to exceed all expectations. Producing some forty four episodes in total and spanning ten years on television, One Foot In The Grave is widely regarded as a milestone series of British television comedy...One Foot In The Grave was written with dark humour and biting sarcasm by David Renwick. David's impressive writing credits include The Two Ronnies, Not the Nine O'Clock News, The Kenny Everett Television Show and Jonathan Creek...Over the ten year running period of the series more regular cast members were introduced and many special guest appearances were made...The series also spawned a famous catchphrase that would be widely known by devotees of the sitcom. In fact, actor Richard Wilson is still haunted by the words wherever he goes in Britain...The premise of One Foot In The Grave is quite simple and seemingly rather common. Many of us will relate some of the characters in the series to people we know in everyday life. This is perhaps one of the qualities that made One Foot In The Grave such an enduring and respected sitcom. - Steve Crawford
