The UK's Most Popular Comedy Series Ever!
Now together in one collection, every episode of Britain's best-loved comedy series! Crafty cockney con man Derek Trotter (David Jason) dreams of making a fortune, but each dodgy deal and shady scheme always seems to end in disaster. And then there's his family to look after: lovable but hapless kid brother, Rodney; doddery old Grandad; and ex-seafaring Uncle Albert. This hilarious, life-affirming series is one of the most popular on British television, and the annual Only Fools and Horses Christmas Specials became as fundamental a British holiday tradition as Christmas crackers and the Queen's Address to the Commonwealth. Only Fools and Horses boasts 13 top comedy awards including two Best Comedy BAFTAs, and the series finale, "Sleepless in Peckham" was viewed by 2 out of 3 British households on Christmas Day, 2003. As Del-boy himself would say, "Lovely jubbly!"

Editor's Note
Widely hailed as the greatest British sitcom to ever grace the BBC network, ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES moves on to charm American audiences with this collection of every episode from the show. Watch--and laugh--as hapless Cockney hucksters Derek "Del Boy" Trotter (David Jason) and his brother Rodney "Dave" Trotter (Nicholas Lyndhurst) struggle to invent the perfect scheme, which will turn them into overnight millionaires. The only trouble is, the brothers have been at this for years--and the results have always been less than successful!

Professional Reviews

BFI ScreenOnline 8 of 10
"Why do only fools and horses work?" bemoans the theme tune for this long-running BBC sit-com, and it is this question which underlies the exploits of Derek 'Delboy' Trotter (David Jason) and his younger brother Rodney (Nicholas Lyndhurst). Written by John Sullivan and first aired in 1981, the series charts the fortunes of the two siblings as they attempt to escape from their dreary council block existence via a string of ill-fated get-rich-quick scams...Ultimately, Delboy and Rodney appeal to the British public's love of the underdog: we know they are destined to fail, and any success they achieve is likely to prove short-lived, yet we will them on anyway because of their charming naivety and plucky perseverance...The series officially ended in 1991, but regular repeat showings and a string of one-off Christmas specials has ensured its popularity has remained undimmed. Polls regularly cite it as the favourite British comedy series of all time. - Darren Lee
