The H638 10/100 ethernet switch creates a home network between up to eight computers. "Plug and play" installation is easy when using the H628 data hub. The H638 is IEEE 802.3u 100 Base-TX Fast Ethernet compliant. IEEE 802.3 10 Base-T compliant and has activity LEDs for network status and diagnosis. The H638 shares an MDI "uplink" port with Port 1 to expand the network using additional H638 units for systems with more than eight devices. |
