Palm Pixi - THEY TRIED TO KILL IT, BUT IT JUST WON1/24/2013
As perhaps most people looking for these phones already know, Hewlett-Packard bought out the venerable old manufacturer of Palm Products and immediately proceeded pulling the plug on support for both the Web-OS system as well as all Palm hardware. Nonetheless, the operating system as well as this particular product are so well designed that adherents are slowly buying up whatever's still left. Don't ask me why I'm even writing this review. I hope nobody reads it so I can keep buying Palm Pixi's.
This phone is great for the price. The touch screen is very responsive, like other more expensive smart phone. The phone is a little small for some hands, but overall the size seem to be good. The OS is not that great, but is workable. Battery life is also good. If it is normally used for making calls and texting then battery life is about 4-5 days.
Not a good phone9/19/2011
The price seems too good to be true but I purchased one - Pros: Cheap, great features Cons - Case/cover deteriorated (separated at edge of phone -curling problem 2 times in 4 months, RF is weak, audio problems. I can see why Verizon dropped this model. It's just not very good. Now, I have to buy a new phone.
Poor little pixie......6/6/2011
I loved this phone when I got it...over time it became slower and slower. The more aps you run the more likely you are to crash. DONOT attempt to download a third part ap or you will kill this phone....
