Customer Reviews of Panasonic KX-TG1062M Cordless Phone - 1 x Phone Line(s) - 1 x Headset - Gray
It turns out that this phone has a feature where it will sync its time with that of your phone company's Caller ID service (in my case, Comcast). Unfortunately for me, Comcast's time sync signal is off by about five minutes so that is why my phone wasn't able to keep the correct time. Hopefully, Comcast will correct this soon.
Panasonic KX-TG1062M Cordless Phone12/10/2010
I purchased the Panasonic KX-TG1062M Cordless Phone plus two additional handsets to replace a Uniden DECT2088 Series system. The Panasonic system is head and shoulders above the Uniden. The features and benefits of the Panasonic are great; I particularly like the “silent mode”.
Well, in my first review I blamed the phone for not being able to keep time. In the meantime, the phone also has the option of turning off this time sync and entering the time manually (which I have done). It is now keeping time as it should. So, the problem I described in my other review was not the fault of this phone. I give it five stars.
Nice Phone But Can't Keep Time4/17/2010
I have had this phone for a couple of weeks and, overall, I am very happy with it. I also bought two additional handsets for a total of four wireless handsets (it was easy to add the two additional handsets). It has much less inteference than my older 2.4 GHz phone. It is easy to use and the ringer and other features have a lot of flexibility. Plus, it works with my Comcast voicemail to tell me when I have waiting messages (I am not using the built-in answering machine). My only complaint is that the clock seems to lose around 1 minute per day. This is annoying as I have to reset the time once a week or so to make sure it is correct. I'm considering returning it and trying another one to see if they are all like this. Other than that relatively minor issue, I am very happy with this phone.
