Okay, good price.12/5/2012
Kinda slow, not much memory. Worth spending a bit more for a bigger version.
Great Product, Great Price12/5/2012
This items is supposed to be 'refurbished' but it looks completely new! The box was sealed and brand new. Very nice price, that being said it IS slow, but does what it claims to do. I can upload books and read throughout the day on my downtime at work. Good product for a 'beginner' in the tablet world!
With amazing specs and rock-bottom price, how bad could this deal be? Well... This device is mainly configured to purchase ebooks and other media from B&N, and for that purpose it is slow, glitchy and easily broken. But if you're buying it for anything else, such as for listening/viewing your own media or reading your own PDF files that you've uploaded to it, it is entirely useless. If you've already purchased this or any other Pandigital device, save yourself the time and effort of learning how to use it, and just chuck it in the trash right away.
Pandigital 7" tablet8/9/2012
Awesome! Came loaded with all the new software, so I didn't have to do any downloads. Still getting used to it but I love it already!
Great if you know technology12/16/2011
Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of better things in the world of E-readers and tablets, but for anyone who knows their way around technology and knows how to adjust settings/efficiency this is a steal.
Don't even bother with this one!10/7/2011
This thing came with high expectations, but turned out to be a piece of junk. Don't bother even trying this, as you will have the same problems that everyone else is incurring. It barely does anything!
Avoid Pandigital Tablets9/13/2011
I bought a Pandigital Novel for my wife for Christmas because it could be upgraded to Android if we wanted the extra capabilities. What a mistake. As many other reviews of these devices state, the device is unresponsive to touch. They also do not provide Android upgrade paths so there are few apps that can be added because the Android levels are old and buggy (the email program has major bugs).
the pandgital Android Tablet is a very nice device and is extremely convenient digital companion. it is easy to use and is powered by android thus making it almost a hand held computer. the apps this tablet can handle are amazing. 1 gb of space helps to make this the ultimate must have for any business man, college student, orfor anyone who loves technology of any kind. very nice tablet!
Can barely be called a tablet...4/14/2011
The product : Not so excellent. They took a reader and basically hacked it to run Android. But it's only a limited version of Android, so there is no no "real" Android store access, you generally can't even install apps directly from websites, even those that specify they will support Android 2.0. A number of the built-in or downloadable apps either functioned poorly or not at all - the preinstalled version Facebook was bare-bones and laughable, it didn't even support messaging. The browser displayed some sites very well, other sites would not render at all. Of course, there is no Flash support, but Flash suxors anyway. Sluggish response, 800Mhz processor is hobbled to 600Mhz and it's laggy as all get-out. The resistive touchscreen needs a stylus to even begin to operate it properly, scrolling is an exercise in frustration. I've already resold this device to a nerd in our MIS department and took a $35 loss just to get rid of it, I'm saving up for an iPad. Lesson learned...
right price horrible product4/9/2011
This is a useless item that has a terrible response for connectivity and touch screen is nearly impossible to use,
