It''s bedtime for Peter and his friends. Tuck them in by flipping over the covering they snuggle under as they sleep. From a little ladybug resting under a leaf to Jemima''s ducklings nestling under her wing to Peter snoozing under his blanket - children can say good night to them all!
From the Publisher:
Interactive flaps and gentle bedtime-themed illustrations combine in a tale that invites sleepy youngsters to say good-night to such characters as a ladybug resting under a leaf, Jemima's ducklings nestling under her wing and Peter snuggling under his blanket.Interactive flaps and gentle bedtime-themed illustrations combine in a tale that invites sleepy youngsters to say good-night to such characters as a ladybug resting under a leaf, Jemima's ducklings nestling under her wing and Peter snuggling under his blanket.
Author Bio
Beatrix Potter
The continuing legacy of Beatrix Potter makes it almost impossible to believe that her most well-known work, THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT, was rejected by at least seven publishing companies. Potter originally wrote that story in the form of a letter to the son of her former governess. When it was rejected by publishers, she decided to print a black-and-white version at her own expense. Shortly afterwards, Frederick Warne & Co. reconsidered their rejection and ultimately published the book. THE TALE OF PETER RABBIT was an instant success in 1902 and continues to sell many thousands of copies a year. The classic story has been translated into 30 languages. Potter insisted that when published, this book, and all the titles that followed it, be inexpensive and small enough to fit into a child's hands.
