Author Bio
Virginia Henley
Born in Bolton, Lancashire, Virginia Henley has since lived in both the United States and Canada. The daughter of a steelworker, she married Arthur Howard Henley on July 7, 1956 and has had two sons. Before becoming a full-time writer in 1977, she attended the University of Toronto, worked for the Steel Company of Canada as an executive secretary, and for Labatts Brewery in London, Ontario as an assistant buyer. She is the author of numerous best-selling historical romances, many of them colored with steamy, sexual descriptions and based on suspenseful plots of kidnappings, seductions and rescues.
