As mid-range monitors go, this one is fine - good colors, great viewing angle, impressive brightness, no dead pixels, no scratches, easy to assemble. Even built-in speakers are not as crappy as one usually expects them to be. There are two strikes against the item, however: the controls are outlandishly awkward (I particularly miss a volume roller that some other monitors have), and the support handle is a bit wobbly. Other than that, it's a good buy for a good price, and yes, I'd recommend it.
