Author Bio
Lois Ehlert
Lois Ehlert was encouraged to explore her creativity by her parents and eventually attended the Layton School of Art and the University of Wisconsin. Ehlert started illustrating books for children early in her career but, unhappy with their final production quality, she stopped and focused on graphic design work. Her book COLOR ZOO was named a Caldecott Honor Book in 1990.
