Plot Summary
In this delightful comedy, New York theater critic Lawrence Mackay has his hands full when he puts the bright lights of Broadway behind him and moves to a country house. But trying to work at home in the midst of the Mackay family proves nearly impossible: his beautiful wife, three boisterous young boys, one infant, and one lovable English sheepdog provide endless distractions and constant chaos.| Worst of all, when Mackay finally does become successful, it goes right to his head -- and suddenly he ends up caring more about his own popularity than anything, or anyone, else.
