The Praxis I Exam Cram, Second Edition provides a concise guide for studying and passing the teacher licensing exams known as Praxis I. Praxis I, the Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST), tests teacher candidates for mathematics, reading, and writing skills. Approximately 80% of US states require one or both exams. The test is now offered as a CBT by Prometric through Sylvan Learning Centers. The exams range in price from $55 to $175. Candidates register through ETS, their school, or Prometric.
