when I use the flash... it eliminates the partial shadow of the lens I would normally recieve at the bottom of the photo from using the built-in flash. The bracket is very sturdy. The use of the bracket as a handle is more relaxing than having to place my hand under the lens as a leverage. Unfortunately there is a downside. The bracket can still move even though I have screwed in tight and the camera mounting knob does not have a hole so I would be able to place a mount for a tripod. Some shots take time for dark photos. It's kind of hard to hold all of that weight still while waiting for the shutter to end its task so the shot doesn't become blurry.
The biggest problem here is two things Being the knob on the bottom that screws it to the Camera. One it is to small hard to really tighten it as tight as it should be and the other is ( most inconvenient ) You cannot mount your camera on a Tripod with this bracket on It should have either a threaded hole in the mounting knob or on the Bracket itself I had to alter it to make it where I could mount it on my tripod.
