From the Publisher
Troubled times have come to Narnia as it is gripped by civil war. Prince Caspian is forced to blow The Great Horn of Narnia, summoning the help of past heroes Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. Now they must overthrow Caspian's uncle, King Miraz, to restore peace to Narnia.

Annotation:
Part of the classic children's fantasy series the Chronicles of Narnia, PRINCE CASPIAN takes place about a year after the events of THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE. Susan's magic horn whisks Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy off an English railway platform and back to the land of Narnia. Once there, they discover that in Narnia, hundreds of years have passed since their reign, and they are now needed to aid Narnia's current rightful ruler, Prince Caspian, to wrest the throne from his usurping uncle. The BBC adapted this book for television in 1989.
Author Bio
C. S. Lewis
Clive Staples Lewis was educated in England, attending Oxford in 1917. World War I interrupted his studies and Lewis served in the trenches for two years. In 1919 he returned to Oxford, where he remained until 1954. An atheist, Lewis converted to Christianity in 1929, and spent his life pursuing many interests: his acclaimed Narnia books and a trilogy of space travel novels; books concerning religion; and an academic career in medieval and renaissance literature. In 1955, Lewis moved on to Magdalen College, Cambridge University; in 1956 he married Joy Davidman Gresham, who died in 1960. Lewis survived her by three years.
