Escape is Just the Beginning.|Breaking Out Was Just the Beginning.
Over the wall and on the run, the most-wanted men in America, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), must lead a dangerous band of hardened fugitives on a daring international flight, chasing millions of dollars, risking everything to expose a sinister government conspiracy, and fighting desperately to stay alive until the day they can stop running. Wanted, hunted and betrayed, the Fox River Eight are out of prison and evading capture in the explosive and unpredictable second season of Prison Break, and this time, not everyone makes it out alive!

This six disc collection includes all 22 episodes from Season 2 of Prison Break!

"Not only is the show smartly written and packed with surprises in every episode, but the cast is terrific...  Andy Dursin, The Aisle Seat
"...a little bit far-fetched, but interesting.  Shawn McKenzie, Entertain Your Brain!
"The series does an excellent job maintaining tension...[and] remains pleasingly unpredictable.  CurrentFilm.com
"Packed with clever twists and turns in every episode the creators skillfully build the suspense leaving you wanting more.  Erik Martinez, DVD Town
"...Prison Break takes melodrama and turns it into high art. There's hardly a scene that doesn't have a surprise of some sort...  James Plath, Reel.com
"...one of the most consistently engaging and inventive shows on television.  Mike Jackson, DVD Verdict

Editor's Note
Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller, THE HUMAN STAIN) and his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell, JOHN DOE) might have escaped prison at the end of season one, but that doesn't mean that drama and action have to end in this thrilling series' second year. Michael, Lincoln, and a group of escaped convicts aren't just on the run from the law, led by an FBI agent (William Fichtner, INVASION). They're also devoting their time to uncovering a vast government plot that takes them all over the world. Like fellow serial dramas LOST and 24, PRISON BREAK is a complex series driven by smart stories and engaging action that rewards multiple viewings. This release includes all 22 episodes of the second season, plus audio commentaries, behind-the-scenes footage, and more.

Variety 7 of 10
Emboldened by the durability of "24," Fox trots out two serials this fall that, in success, will be difficult to extend into a second season. "Prison Break" is the more intriguing of these sha-la-la-live-for-today dramas (the other being "The OC"-like "Reunion"), thanks principally to a strong cast led by Wentworth Miller, who purposely gets tossed into prison hoping to spring his death-row brother. Still, emulating "24"'s delicate balancing act is full of potential tripwires, and the surplus of moving parts in the two-hour premiere doesn't make entirely clear how "Break" will escape triggering them. - Brian Lowry
