Customer Reviews of Retro Duo Twin Video Game System NES & SNES - Silver/Black
I had read reviews of this item that said it simply didn't work or that it stopped working after a week. I've had the console for almost six months and still works perfectly. The cables are short and the sound is weak. Other than that, you can't find a better way to play your old games!

Plus: allows you to play those old dusty games in the closet. Worked great so far for me. I rather like the updated cables than the old way. Games freeze once in a while, I just start over. I like that you can play both platforms. Minus: you can only use SNES controllers so no duckhunt etc. I wish that all the cables were longer. Volume of the games seemed low and noisey but still worth the money! It would cost more to refurb an old NES or SNES so just buy it!
Pros: - easy to assemble - has AV cables so most current TV's will work fine with it - plays NES and SNES games. Cons: - Flimsy/cheap feeling. I bet if you drop it once it would be broken for good - The games do not plant firmly in the system. They fit so loose that if you touch the cartridge at all while the system is turned on, it resets the game. - The system actually outputs the audio at about 25% less speed than the normal tempo. This is a huge problem for me as NES and SNES games are often closely associated with their iconic music, which is partly ruined by the emulation on this system. Overall, it gets the job done but it's nothing to be overly excited about as a hardcore oldschool gamer. Just download an emulator if you can.
Works great. Easy to assemble and use. Shipped fast and was no hassle. I would and will recommend the system to friends.

The system works great, is extremely simple to setup and connect, and has no trouble playing any of my old school favorites from the 8 and 16-bit generations. Easily worth the price for someone like me without a SNES or NES, but who still had games for both.
