Author Bio
William Joyce
William Joyce's first full-length picture book, BILLY'S BOOGER, written while he was in elementary school, got him sent to the principal's office. Since that time he has created a number of well-loved and less "gross" works such as DINOSUAR BOB(1988) and BENTLY AND EGG (1992). He attended Southern Methodist University and worked as painter before becoming the author and illustrator of picture books. Joyce says that he is influenced by cartoons, television, and movies--his favorite movie character, King Kong, has a cameo appearance in nearly every one of his books.
