THE ROAD TO AVONLEA is a Canadian children's television series based on the beloved children's book THE GOLDEN ROAD by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Young Sara Stanley lives a comfortable life in exciting, urban Montreal, but her life changes drastically when she goes to live with her Aunt Hetty on rural Prince Edward Island.
