Robotech is Back with a Vengeance!
In the year 2044 AD, the human race has reached out to the stars through the miracle of Robotechnology, but not without bringing intergalactic war upon the Earth itself. Heroes will die and allegiances will shift. But in the midst of combat, perhaps peace will spring up through the charred remains of battered history. One of the greatest science fiction sagas of all time continues...Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles.

Featuring the voices of Mark Hamill (Star Wars) and Chase Masterson (Star Trek: Deep Space 9), Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles features cutting-edge CG animation beautifully composited with vibrant anime characters. Leaping forward beyond the original series, showcasing heightened production values, and an awe-inspiring musical score performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

"The story is brilliant!...[a] great chapter in the Robotech series.  Nathan Stevens, Gamerz Edge
"...very well-done and a mostly seamless addition to the overall Robotech franchise.  Todd Maternowski, Pegasus News

Editor's Note
Vince Grant and Scott Bernard find themselves in a race to save the survivors of the Robotech wars in this addition to the popular Robotech anime series.

Professional Reviews

ePinions.com 9 of 10
The voice acting is mostly top-notch. Some of the actors' portrayals have changed over the years, as their voices change with age or else they lose track of how they originally voiced the characters. The only really jarring change is that Alexandra Kenworthy voices the Regess a bit too softly, in my opinion; she lacks the harsh, strident tone that she had in the TV show. This Regess sounds altogether too kindly, even when she's talking about the Invids' vilest foes...Kari Wahlgren does a good job, and perhaps it's for the best that she sounds so different now that she also looks different; it might be hard to get used to Melanie MacQueen's voice coming out of that new-looking face. And Melanie MacQueen is not entirely forgotten; she at least gets a couple of cameos as the voice of the deceased Marlene Rush. - Chris Meadows
