I don't know why there's a power supply when it won't even charge a cell phone. Good lord the power supply is big enough to charge an iPad.
This also knock out my USB ports when connected and I restarted my computer.
The magnets are weak and will hardly stay on any vertical piece of sheet metal.
I have it disconnected now and will be using it as a paper weight.
I found the Rosewill better than the last hub I bought for two resons, frist it comes with its own power and it sticks right on the top of my tower with little movement and second I loved the price
This was one of the most reasonably priced 7-port hubs I could find, and two of the ports are designated for charging. Works fine on my iPad. I wish there was a pilot light, but that's a small issue. Four of the five non-charging ports are in continuous use, leaving one for casual use, such as a thumb drive from time to time.
If you're running out of sockets for your USB peripherals, then you definitely ought to take a look at this hub. The Rosewill RHB-330 is a portable solution to your USB port problems. It allows up to 7 additional USB ports on a computer. With the slim, strip-shape design, it saves your precious desktop space. Its extremely portable and easy to move between systems or take on the road.
