Kintaro is a former leader of a biker gang who has undergone a change of heart. Left with a small child to care for after his girlfriend dies in childbirth, Kintaro has become a low-level employee of a construction company. The charismatic former bad boy now must learn to reconcile his past with his new surroundings, becoming an unlikely hero. Although he often navigates his new world with unconventional methods, he always manages to do the right thing. Turning the business world of Japan into a background for melodrama, where the heroes are stoic and sometimes cruel, defending what is right against weak, manipulative villains, Kintaro's fish-out-of-water status within the corporate world is used to highlight issues of conformity and rebellion, class, ethics, and morality.
