Problematic Netflix App10/8/2013
Reconsider buying this product if you're interested in using the Netflix app. Unfortunately, it chokes, movie stops, tries to reload, and goes into this ifinite cycle. At this point the remote becomes inoperable and you have to unplug the entire machine. Everything else works, but I have to assume Hulu, Vudu, Amazon streaming would also be a problem. It basically plays DVDs, and does a good job at that.
I was looking for an inexpensive Blu-Ray player, and this product is exactly what I was looking for. I've purchased numerous refurbished products with zero issues. If it didn't say "refurbished" on the paperwork, I would not have known. Original box, packaging and paperwork included.
Ordered Brand-New, Received in a Scratched Box6/28/2013
I ordered a "Brand-New" Samsung BD-F5100 Blu Ray Player. While the product itself looks new, I was scared that it might have been refurbished, as the box was scratched. I'm counting on the 45-day full-refund return policy offered by Buy.com/Rakuten.com, in case I see any issues with this product.
