Great second computer!2/8/2015
This is such a powerful computer! Great for your children to do their schoolwork and have fun. This sis also a great second computer to have laying around in-case your main one isn't working right. Super light a portable to travel with and feature packed!
best chrome book1/14/2015
I used it for 2 months now, it quite fast and good. it's easy to connect to wifi and pretty light. the keyboard also very good quality, and the screen is very valueable for this kind of cheap chrome book. you cannot compare it with other windows laptop and Mac, we should compare it with tablet. overall, it 's very good tablet with keyboard.
Chromebook nice but poor wifi range10/1/2014
I've been trying to use my new (refurbished) Chromebook for over a week now and find that the wifi range is very poor. I've run it next to my old laptop and found that it will access websites ok for a while but then stops. The adjacent laptop has no problem. This happens with even 3 bars in the icon. If I place it near the router it runs like a champ. But I need better portability than that. I had a chat session with a Samsung agent that ended with a recommendation to send it in for repair. Too bad for me, the warranty expired 6 months agao.
Provided all I wanted9/26/2014
Chrome isn't my favorite OS, but am able to do everything I wanted with this product. Just wanted something to do online easier than using tablet and also fairly light and portable. Product seems excellent for what it does.
Chromebook is not for me7/7/2014
It is a nice little thing if you dont want to download, have normal android apps, or need a delete button. Mine worked better under the guest profile and froze when I would try to log in under my google accounts.
cute n useful6/27/2014
This is very good buy for the price I paid. Doing everything it supposed to do. No complaints.
Cheap browsing machine6/24/2014
This is a nice, cheap and light internet browsing machine, that works well as a couch companion. The startup time is quick like advertised. If you mostly browse the web and send emails, then this will be fine for you.
It is just want I wanted, I needed something to use when I was flying, It small size makes it easy to pack. Comes with free gogo internet that can be used on some flights and the price was right. I was disappointed that I could not use GoToMyPC but still very happy with my purchase.
I wouldn't recommend buying it.9/4/2013
If you think this is a computer, you have been lied to and are mistaken. The Chromebook is a web browser and glorified typewriter. It can do nothing else. What you can do on the Chrome browser on a real computer is all you are limited to on the Chromebook. Anything else is a fantasy. The worst part, the ARM dual core A15 and Mali GPU is very overrated. The CPU and "GPU" is so underpowered, that the functions the Chromebook can perform lag, video stutters, flash games take minutes to load and when they finally do they stutter and lag as well. The desktop area is just a picture, you can't make shortcuts to anything, but it makes sense since there is nothing to link to. Don't be fooled by all the "satisfied" customers who "knew what they were getting into when they ordered their Chromebook." Those people probably never owned a real computer or even a tablet and this is a step up from the calculator and typewriter they were using before. If you have $300 to spend, buy a tablet or a decent netbook. Or, spend a few buck more and get a real laptop. Whatever you do, do not buy this steaming pile of junk.
