Ordered this card to use as memory boost on my netbook, supposedly makes it boot faster and have higher seek times than using internal memory, and sure enough, I noticed improvement in my netbooks performance. Netbooks out of the box are basic mostly web surfing and office computers, so it was easy to nitice the diference in performance, Thank you buy.com
Man, fast shipping and excellent product. You can't ask for more than that. I'll definitely use you again!
As far as I can tell, the card is working exactly as it is supposed to. I previously bought this same brand in the compact flash form factor for another camera, and haven't had a single problem with it. I like the high transfer rates, and know that I'll be less likely to fill the camera's buffer while taking continuous pictures.
I never dreamed there are compatibility problems with SanDisk cards and Panasonic cameras. The card would not work in my DMC-FZ7 so I started checking for possible problems. Nothing listed on the Panasonic site. After that I discovered the message on SanDisk to check cameras for compatibility. Currently SanDisk shows only 14 Panny cameras compatible with their memory cards, mine is not one of them. The card will work in friends cameras so all is not lost. I would strongly suggest checking SanDisk for any known issues before purchasing one of their cards. I am just going to buy a different brand.
Works great. No problems.
This is a great SD card offering quick read/write speed and excellent image quality in my professional digital camera. Although it is less expensive than some 2GB cards, it is a bit pricey compared to the Kingston 2GB Elite Pro SD card (which is just as fast) with reader currently being offered on Buy.com for about half the price of this card.
SanDisk Ultra II SD 2GB Card - SDSDH-2048-9013/10/2007
Everything was excellent!!!
Definitely can tell the difference!12/21/2006
The difference can be seen immediately! I had previously purchased a Kingston 2GB SD card for my Pentax IST digital SLR. The card worked sufficiently and held more than enough pictures. The only problem was in rapid frame-shooting, the card was not high speed. The card would lag after 2-3 pictures, defeating the purpose of this feature. The Sandisk Ultra II fixed the problem. The write speed is amazing and the read speed is equally as fast. I am now able to capture 40+ pictures in rapid frame-shooting mode and review them just as quickly. The cost is a bit more than the price of “standard” 2GB SD cards from other manufactures, but well worth it (with buy.com having the best price). A smart purchase for digital photography!
Very Good Performance8/12/2006
You really can't appreciate the speed performance until you compare it with some other brands. I've tried several other SD Cards over the years but Sandisk Ultra2 cards always make my Canon cameras perform faster.
Item is perfect8/9/2006
This item reads fast, writes fast, is tiny, but not TOO small, and almost indestructable. It even comes with all kinds of warantees. The ONLY thing I recommend to shoppers is to find the relatively lowest price. I promise you, though, after a couple weeks it wont matter if you saved $5 by looking around. You'll have wished you paid the extra $5 wherever and had the item earlier. Buy.com tends to have the cheapest prices around anyway! I can't wait until the ExtremeIII comes down to reasonable price - that one has specialized software for things such as data recovery!
Good for iQueM56/5/2006
This 2G SD card functions perfectly in the Garmin iQueM5 PDA/GPS unit, with enough capacity to contain the two CD's of geographic info and about 300 meg's left over for music or other general storage.
Super Easy Solution2/23/2006
This is my first SD card. I ordered a USB adapter and use it as a USB drive. It's so fast! I also us it in my Palm TX and it works great.
