Customer Reviews of Sandisk Sansa Clipzip SDMX22-008G-A57K 8GB Media Player (Black)
THIS ONE DID NOT RECORD FROM FM7/4/2014
MY FIRST ONE WAS EXCELLENT(LOVE IT) THAT'S WHY I ORDERED A SECOND ONE WITH MORE MEMORY TO RECORD, BECAUSE IT DOES NOT RECORD DIRECTLY TO SD CARD. I HAD TO USE MY OLDER ONE AS BACKUP TO RECORD MY ASSEMBLY
A great, simple player for a good price1/25/2014
I purchased the refurbished model and it works without any issues. It is very simple to operate and I can easily find the albums and songs I want to play.
Nice MP3 Player!12/31/2013
I bought this as a refurb but everything works very well on it. I bought it because it rated high with other people who bought it.
I wanted an inexpensive product with more flexibility than apple gives. I have lots of flac encoded music and this minimalist flash player was just the ticket.
Received it today and seems to be just i was looking for. Small and easy to use. Sync with MP and the music loaded fine. Very Happy
SanDisk Sansa clip zip - refurbished.12/10/2013
The product is working very well, I am very satisfied with it. I was impressed by the quality of the earbuds, too often electronics are shipped with a low grade pair (like cars coming with cheap tires out of the dealership) As a refurbished item, there wasn't all the unnecessary packaging; the instruction sheet was tiny and hard to read, but SanDisk's web site makes up for this. The only improvement I'd want is a direct (instead of cable) USB connection.
The size is just right and good for jogging or walking. The clip on is a good design. The 8G of storage is more than enough. I am amazed with all the build in features (music, radio, ebook, etc). Great music sound output. You will appreciate the unit more if you have a good headset.
Nice MP3 player12/9/2013
The size is small, but I love all that it can do. I listened to the radio. I listened to downloaded music. I am preparing a playlist for my workouts and one when I am just lying about or reading. I went running, and its size made it easy to carry it in my hand, but I decided to place it on a piece of clothing. Love it so far. I will give an update when I get back from a cruise I scheduled later in December.
Nice Little Unit11/18/2013
Nice little unit that fits my purposes. I added a 32GB microSD card to it and loaded my entire MP3 library on it. The audio quality isn't bad, not top notch, but not bad especially for the price. The screen can be limiting but that's to be expected based on the size. Very happy with this unit, a very good bang for the buck.
I find this one easier to use than the SANSA FUSE player I bought earlier although the sound is not quite as good. I travel for long periods of time so the size of this product is perfect and belt clip makes it inconspicuous when on the street. The volume is at max now so I am not sure how it will conflict with sounds/noise if used in public places. Otherwise, it is seems like a good buy.
The player works well, intuitive menu. good volume. The process worked exactly as advertised for a killer price. Why anyone would deal with Apple products is beyond me.
Great MP3 Player10/28/2013
I've had a Sandisk MP3 player for years and I love the ability to get audiobooks from the library and listen to them wherever I go. I bought this one for a good friend and it has been most appreciated for the sound quality and the number of books that can be down-loaded to it. Great value.
Really compact and easy to use player. I have had Sansa players for years but this one is really clean and compact. It is far less useful that it would be - like all the Sansa devices - because they are designed to work with Windows media player. Why not just a Explorer like file transfer mechanism?
So far,so good.10/17/2013
So far so good, only had it a few weeks and it is working great. Have an older version and still love it, but battery loses power over time and can't replace them. Only lasts about three hrs. now till recharge. I recommend SanDisk over all others.
no frills MP36/5/2013
super lightweight, easy to use, starts right up. was surprised it had a full charge ready to roll right out of the box. GREAT!
Have used for 3 days , so am still learning the many usages. This review is based on playing books. Pros: a BACK button to return to previous pages - very nice! Cons: ear phone jack fits very poorly into unit; no counter visible when playing books which is my primary usage.
This doe not work4/1/2013
This device does not work and trying to return or exchange with seller but I haven't had any luck so far
Handy-dandy beach item.4/1/2013
This nifty little FM radio can record as well as play back, and its size makes it easy to carry anywhere. As a sports fan I like this item because I can unobtrusively tune in to games wherever I am, on the beach, in a mall, or even at work, without disturbing anyone. The FM reception is remarkably strong and the sound comes through loud and clear. I'm sure this little baby can do a lot more than I know offhand, but unfortunately it arrived without any kind of instruction sheet whatsoever.
Great little wonder!!4/1/2013
Use for audiobooks.
Item was smaller than thought to be, no start up disc i guess because it was refurb. was able to download music to play later, worth the price
Saved a bunch on refurb MP3 player with FM tuner built in.
Other than "R" written in front of the product, it works great, thanks
The SanDisk Clip is very easy to use just load your mp3,s and listen. Nice compack fits just about anywhere and the sound is incredible. Would very much recamend this to anyone.
Worth the money3/25/2013
I have owned several Clips over the years and have only had one bad experience so far. My last ClipZip just died for no reason after about a years worth of use three days a week at the gym. They are sturdy and survive most punishment I have thrown at it. I hope this one stays alive as long as my other Clips, 2+ years.
I LOVE SANSA4/5/2012
I replaced my old Sansa MP3 (which worked great for years) because I wanted to differentiate between music and audiobooks. Not only does this device have a separate audiobook folder--it keeps separate bookmarks for each book I have on the player. Recently took it to the beach and was thrilled at it's performance for both music and books. It's super easy to navigate and use in general (pausing, finding music, playlists). Will never lose the orange player in my purse either! Would highly recommend it! Excellent sound quality and value for the price.
I Dig it2/24/2012
I bought this little guy to replace a 6th Gen iPad Nano. My main complaints about the Nano: 1. No buttons, difficult to work with it when you are running or working out. Difficult to pause when a co-worker arrives at your desk. 2. I'm a Linux guy. The 6th gen iPod nano is not compatible with any Linux drivers. Will not work with gtk-pod. Running a VM just for an iPod is a drag. 3. You're stuck with the storage size you buy. Don't get me wrong, I really did like the Nano, but for my usage patterns it was not ideal. The Zip Clip takes care of the above problems and then some. 1. Buttons are easy to find and navigate, even when you are not using your eyes. 2. You can load it just using your raw MP3's or MTP mode using Rhythmbox on Linux, and lots of other music managers on other platforms. 3. Stick a microSD card in it and bam, you now have a 36 GB portable music player. 4. Bonus, the Zip Clip has a custom EQ mode as well as presets, so you can make your music sound just the way you want. 5. Bonus, the Zip Clip supports the leveling encoded in your MP3's or albums. Yes, the iPod has sound check but that's all secret voodoo stuff and only works with their own files. The size is a bit bigger than the nano but it's made of plastic and is nearly the same weight (Zip Clip is 25 grams, nano is 20.) I clip it on my watchband when I'm working out. It also dangles from my lanyard when I'm working. My RSA fob and badge weigh way more than the Zip Clip. I'm really happy with this thing, it does exactly what I want it to do. Dealing with the iPod was becoming rather frustrating to a non-Apple guy and I find that the Zip Clip has a couple added features that make it work and sound better than the iPod. Me like.
