Customer Reviews of Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT AGP 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 DX10.0 PCI-E CrossFire Supported Video Card
Know Your Drivers!6/9/2008
This is a good value video card, but do not use the included drivers for an AGP card! They do not work! You can obtain good drivers for the card by searching for "Omega Drivers" on Google. You can get the proper software as a free download, and it works just fine.
The HD 2600 XT is my first DX10 card and thus far I've been pleased. I was rather impressed the first time I loaded up Bioshock and later COD 4 which I play regularly. I have an Asus A8V Del mobo with AGP and this card has filled the slot nicely. I run a socket 939 AMD 64 X2 4600+ along with 2GB of RAM. I have not used any of the cards additional TV features. It runs COD 4 at 800 x 600 with minimal settings and allows me on average 45FPS (30 to 90FPS) If you still have AGP this is a cost effective choice. This is also my 2nd Sapphire card which has been historically of high quality.
