Buckingham/Nicks vol. 2
This is a great album. It does sound like a sequel to the original Buckingham/Nicks record (pre FM, and still outta print). I Love Linsey's production and guitar sounds. Very complex and deep at times. Simple when needed. He could have been a star just producing other peoples albums and not even recording. His vocals are still very much the same as 15 yrs ago and his guitar work is still awsome. Stevie, on the other hand is a litle more complex. I love Stevie, dont get me wrong but there are some tunes which dont seem to go anywhere for me. It jsut sems that she tries to hard to tell a story in her songs sometimes and it comes across as seemng contrived or forced. Also her voice is a little less delicate than that of her earlier yrs. Thats not to say there arn't some great songs from her here! There are! Mick and John move the music along in perfection as always. To sum up; this is a great cd. There are many strong, great songs (not including Peace Keeper which I dont like). I love this CD!
