From the Publisher:
The Angel Experiment was just a test drive... Now, brace yourself for the MAXIMUM ride!

James Patterson shifts high action into overdrive in this eagerly awaited follow-up to his #1 New York Times bestseller. Brave bird-kid Max and her flock fly south on a perilous quest to find their parents, after having rescued Angel and recovered secret documents about their origins. But just when they think they've finally escaped the hungry claws of evil Erasers, they're discovered by an FBI agent and forced to face perhaps an even worse nightmare: going to school. There's no such thing as an ordinary day when Max's "homework" includes decoding documents, deciphering when (and how) she's supposed to save the world, and learning to face what may her greatest enemy: herself. A clone. Max II.

Author Info
James Patterson
James Patterson grew up in Newburgh, New York, 50 miles north of New York City. Valedictorian of his class at the Christian Brothers school, St. Patrick's, in 1965, Patterson graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in English. He first entertained the idea of becoming a writer in 1971 when he worked as a college student in a mental institution, a job that afforded him abundant time to read. He came up with the idea for his first novel during that time, and five years later, after 26 rejection slips, his first effort, "The Thomas Berryman Number", appeared in bookstores. Since that time, Patterson has written numerous best-selling thrillers featuring the sensitive, modern-day hero Alex Cross, including "Kiss the Girls", which was made into a major motion picture starring Morgan Freeman.
"Patterson, an accomplished storyteller, once again demonstrates his ability to write page-turning action scenes, this time leavening the suspense with some surprising humor...."
From the Publisher
Annotation Sky-based battles, the FBI, evil Erasers, and more appear in this follow-up to the runaway bestseller THE ANGEL EXPERIMENT, where readers were first introduced to 14-year-old Max and her flock of part-human, part-bird kids. The gang decides to seek out their biological parents, but run into trouble along the way when they butt heads with the FBI and the evil agents of the School, Erasers. Not to mention that there's a clone of Max--Max II--that seriously messes with everything. Based on teenage characters taken from his adult novels WHEN THE WIND BLOWS and THE LAKE HOUSE, this series is packed with mind-blowing action and adventure.
Editors Note A follow-up to The Angel Experiment finds bird-kid Max and her flock flying south on a perilous quest to find their parents, struggling to outmaneuver an FBI agent, facing the difficult task of attending school, and endeavoring to outwit her own clone. All ages.
