Only what you see folks
This drive is a very good value. It is fast and quiet. The only complaint I have is that what you see in that picture is all you get (other than an anti-static bag of course.) You do NOT get so much as a mounting screw or basic instruction booklet for setting it up. The drive has a label on it that shows the jumper settings and is vaguely helpful in that respect, but there is zero information on how to initialize the drive once it's plugged in so the OS recognizes it. Forget about a cable, warrenty card, or anything else. Not even an actual Seagate box inside the plain brown box it was packed in for shipping. That being said, the information can be found on www.seagate.com quite easily so it isn't much of a detractor. I just wish drive manufacturers would include the screws to mount them in the machine. Now I have to make a special trip to buy some because I don't have any extras. (I mounted it temporarilly by stealing 2 screws from the other HD in the machine.) I did get it set up with a minimum of fuss, though explicit instructions would have given me a warm fuzzy feeling. I ran it through its paces and it accesses quickly and very quietly and overall I am very pleased with the new drive and satisfied that I received good value for my money.
