Muze PNote This two-fer combines Perry Como's 1963 album The Songs I Love with Seattle, released six years later. Como's voice is, as always, in excellent shape, although the arrangements for these sessions are pretty diverse. Songs I Love features pleasant standards such as "Days of Wine and Roses," "Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words)," and "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." Seattle, on the other hand, is an attempt to make Como's sound a bit hipper in a 1969 sort of way. The title track is the same tune made popular at the time by teen idol Bobby Sherman and was used as the theme song to the TV show Here Come the Brides in which Sherman starred. ~ Al Campbell

Producer: Chet Atkins; Andy Wiswell

Engineer: Al Pachucki; Bob Simpson
