It works seamlessly with a variety of FireWire 400 (1394a) devices including DV camcorders, hard disk drive enclosures, memory card readers, CD-RW/DVD-RAMs, and FireWire enabled audio/video devices such as TVs and set-top boxes. The FireWire 3-Port PCI I/O host adapter comes with three external 6-pin (1394a) ports.
